Damon a multi-disciplinary urbanist with experience working in housing policy, community engagement, and economic development. He earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies from a European collaboration called 4Cities, where he studied in Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Madrid.
Damon joined the Institute as Senior Policy Analyst in 2019. In this role, he serves as the staff lead on the Inclusivity Ratings project, working to identify relevant data sources, partner connections, and outcomes across the ten Inclusivity metrics.
He has also served as a key lead researcher and analyst on numerous partner research projects, including those with the Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance, NeighborScapes, and Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia.
Related to the Institute's internal programs, Damon has also worked to develop infrastructure to analyze and synthesize data to help identify program outcomes and inform process improvements.
